The MV Drawing & Coloring Competition 2025 was a huge success with an overwhelming response RSVP for the event. We are deeply grateful to Mr. Chetan Wattamwar of Reliant Insurance Agency for sponsoring the MV Drawing & Coloring Competition for the third consecutive year.

The competition took place on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at First Presbyterian Church of Matawan, NJ. The registration process was smooth and efficient, with a color-coded seating based on age groups. The competition lasted for two hours, and all the participating children displayed exceptional creativity and imagination in their artwork. This year we had the pleasure of welcoming many new families with young children. Refreshments were served to parents, giving families a chance to interact with others in the community. Parents were provided with information about upcoming Marathi Vishwa events. Each participant received a certificate of participation, a small token gift, pizza slice and juice.

The competition drawings were judged by two artistic professionals Aparna Deshpande and Swaroopa Gadgil. The winners of the drawing competition will be announced shortly, and will receive trophies and certificates at the MV Vasantotsav.  

This event was led by Marathi Vishwa board members Dipti Karkhanis and Vrushali Bhawtankar with support from Mandar Kelkar. A big thank you to our amazing team of volunteers – without their help, the event wouldn’t have run so smoothly.
