How do I become a Marathi Vishwa member? And what do I get for my membership dues?

Marathi Vishwa annual members can renew during July – December 31st. On the Marathi Vishwa webpage, you will get the link to renew your membership. Please check our ‘Become a Member’ page to see the various benefits of becoming a MV member.

Does the annual membership begin only at Ganeshotsav?

Yes, your annual membership renews at Ganeshotsav and continues till August of the following year.

If I miss Ganeshotsav, can I get prorated membership for the remainder of the year?

No, we do not have pro-rated membership rates. You can avail of non-member price for events for the remainder of the year.

If I have guests at home, can I bring them for MV events and programs.

For some popular programs, members are restricted to purchasing a set number of tickets; Your guests can purchase/or you can purchase tickets for them at the non-member price.

I have a small business and would like to put up a vendor booth at one of your events. Whom should I contact?

I would like to make a donation; Does Marathi Vishwa have a Tax ID?

Marathi Vishwa Inc, is a registered 501 (c)(3) organization [Tax ID:22-2234125]. Your donations to Marathi Vishwa are tax deductible as applicable by IRS.

We have a small event that we are trying to market. Will MV advertise our event?

Marathi Vishwa will post flyers for certain non-profit events which are not profit based or are collecting money to be donated (via ticket sales) to charity. Your flyer will be on our website for no more than 15 days. Use the Contact Us form on the MV webpage.

How many people attend Marathi Vishwa events?

Marathi Vishwa’s Ganeshotsav and Diwali programs draw the largest crowds, with approximately 800 to 1,000 attendees. Other events, such as Sankrant, Dasara, Gudhi Padwa, and the annual picnic, typically see attendance of up to 500 people.

What is a Vendor booth?

A vendor booth is a designated space at a Marathi Vishwa event where vendors can display, promote, and sell products or services that are permitted under U.S. regulations.

How much space will be allocated for the vendor booth and merchandise display?

Each vendor will be allocated a space measuring 12 feet wide by 8 feet deep to set up their table, display merchandise, and place a standee

What is the fee for a vendor booth space?

Each vendor booth is limited to a maximum of 2 table spaces and 2 clothes racks.

Table and Rack Fees:

  • Fee for One Table Space:
    • Members: $175
    • Non-Members: $225
    • Non-Profit Organizations: $101
  • Additional Space Fees:
    • Additional Table Space: $25 each
    • Additional Clothes Rack Space: $25 each
How do I reserve one for my Business/ organization?

How do I pay for the booth?

The Vendor Management Team will send you a registration form. Once you’ve completed and submitted the form, the team will review your application. If approved, you will receive an email notification within 48 hours containing payment details and a unique reference number.

Please include this reference number when sending your payment to the email address provided.

What if I didn’t pay for extra tables or racks in advance and realize I need them on the event day?

You will have up to 48 hours before the event to make changes to your registration, including any additional tables or racks you intend to bring for display. Vendors must make separate payments for these additions via Zelle. Absolutely no payments will be accepted at the venue. Any unauthorized or unpaid extra items displayed at the venue will need to be removed immediately.

What do I need to bring to set up the booth?

Vendors are required to bring their own tables, tablecloths, clothes racks, and any materials needed to display their items. 2 chairs will be provided at the venue.

Can I select the spot of my choice to set up the booth?

No. Our team will assign you the best available spot. The location assigned will be final and cannot be changed.

What is the time window to set up and dismantle?

Vendors may begin setup 1 hour before the start of the Marathi Vishwa program. Please ensure your booth is packed up and the space is cleared at least 30 minutes before the program ends. Please note that these times are subject to change based on venue requirements.

Am I allowed to have others assist me at my vendor booth?

Yes, one additional person is allowed to assist at the booth. A maximum of two people may manage the booth at any given time.

Can I distribute food samples?

We advise against distributing food samples, as some venues have specific rules and regulations that may restrict this activity. In certain cases, prior approval or permits from local townships may be necessary. For further details, please contact the MV Vendor Management Team.
