**MV Teens Volunteering at Food Pantry & Thank you for Donation – December 14, 2024**

The donation drive for toiletry items and hygiene products for the Matawan Community Food Pantry created a new opportunity for MV Teens to get involved and offer help at the pantry on Saturday, 14^th December 2024.

MV Teens visited and helped sorting the food items, checking the expiry dates, counting inventory and organizing the pantry. The pantry staff was truly appreciative for these young volunteers who dedicated their Saturday morning to help prepare for their next monthly distribution. We would like to applaud and thank MV Teens, for their valuable contribution; it was a wonderful hands-on experience for them.

Marathi Vishwa continued to receive additional hygiene product donations following MV Diwali. We are pleased to share that recently a MV member, a supporter of MV Teens relaunch effort, made a generous contribution on Giving Tuesday specifically to purchase more toiletry items. This enabled us to donate 75 bottles of shampoo to the Matawan Community Food Pantry. We sincerely thank you for this generous donation.

The event was successfully organized by two MV Board Members & MV Teens Leads; Dipti Karkhanis and Salil Parkar with the support from the MV Teens Coordinator Shailesh Karkhanis. Thanks to MV President, Mandar Kelkar for his presence and encouraging the MV Teens.
