Sahitya Kunj 2026

Reading Time: < 1 minute

We are pleased to share that Sahitya Kunj 2026, held on March 8th at the Old Bridge Library Hall, NJ, was a resounding success. The event was hosted in memory of the late Mrs. Usha Ravikant Sao, and it beautifully coincided with International Women’s Day.

The program featured 19 participants who presented a diverse range of poems and passages. Their intuitive and often humorous reflections offered fresh perspectives on nature, humanity, and life experiences.

To conclude the celebration, attendees enjoyed refreshments including samosas, tea cookies, and chocolate cake.

The event was seamlessly led by Salil Parkar and Trushna Thakur, with Trushna delivering flawless anchoring throughout. This success was made possible by the Marathi Vishwa Board of Directors—Mandar Kelkar, Dipti Karkhanis, Sachin Kulkarni, and Ajinkya Pawar—who assisted in every aspect of the execution.

The overwhelming appreciation from both participants and attendees is a source of great pride for our team. This feedback encourages Marathi Vishwa to continue hosting wholesome cultural events for our community. Sahitya Kunj continues to raise the bar annually, consistently showcasing high-caliber literature.

Marathi Vishwa celebrated International Women’s Day, and during the events, cake was served to all those in attendance from the SahityaKunj and KavyaDhara groups. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported this gathering.
