Vasantotsav 2026, a vibrant celebration of skits, dances, and musical performances by children aged 5 to 18, was successfully hosted on April 19, 2026, at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North by Marathi Vishwa NJ.

Vasantotsav 2026 was not just an event—it was a celebration of culture, community spirit, and the limitless potential of our young generation. With each passing year, it continues to grow in scale, impact, and popularity, strengthening our shared cultural identity and bringing the community closer together.

Vasantotsav 2026 featured a record-breaking 600+ attendees including performers. Each session was eloquently and confidently compered by our young talented emcees.

The performances—12 in the first session and 11 in the second—were nothing short of a spectacular display of enjoyment. From energetic dances to thought-provoking skits and melodious group songs, every act was a reflection of creativity, discipline, and cultural pride. These performances not only entertained but also educated and reinforced the richness of Marathi traditions and festivals. The dedication of our young performers, supported by the relentless efforts of choreographers, directors, coordinators, and parents, was clearly evident in every presentation.

The lunch arrangements were outsourced to Mauli Restaurant from Somerset and the performers were thoughtfully catered with Pizza and refreshments.

The event was successfully led by Board members and event leads Salil Parkar and Sachin Kulkarni with an unwavering support of the Marathi Vishwa Board of Directors—Mandar Kelkar, Dipti Karkhanis, Priya Godbole-Chouthai, Trushna Thakur, Ajinkya Pawar, Roopali Gune, Vrushali Bhawtankar, and Aniruddha Niwargi—who contributed across every aspect of planning and delivery.

A heartfelt appreciation also goes to all Marathi Vishwa volunteers and our dedicated MV teen volunteers. Their energy, commitment, and teamwork played a crucial role in making this event smooth, memorable, and truly joyful for everyone involved.

The event concluded on a high note with the distribution of KavyaDhara winners’ trophies, Children’s and Adults Drawing & Coloring Competition, and Vasantotsav trophies, including MV Anandi Gopal Scholarship 2026, MV ANYA Excellence Award 2026, MV Young Achiever Award 2026, and MF-MV Social Award 2026.
